Let us be honest. This pandemic sucks. Thousands of people are dying, many people are forced to keep working in high-risk jobs in order to keep society going, and others are stuck working from home, trying to keep their everyday life intact somehow. So it is only reasonable to look for silver linings wherever it’s possible.
They offer a large number of ebooks to download as PDFs or EPUBs to download for free. Here, you can find documents with the title lists and download links for a variety of ebooks. Once you download the document, you can have a look which of the books are relevant to your interests. Column T of the excel sheet lists the „Subject Classification“ which allows you to filter out some topics, in order to reduce the amount you have to scan through. When you find a title that you consider interesting, column S contains the URL which sends you to the download page on the Springer website.

Some smart people on reddit have even created a python script, which allows you to download all books at once. If you are blessed with the knowledge of how to implement this, you may be able to save yourself some time and effort.
