Learning grammar does not necessarily have to be boring. There are some resources out there that not only make learning grammar easier, but also fun. Here is a brief list of some of the most useful ones.
Grammarly – As it says on the website: “Grammarly makes sure everything you type is clear, effective and mistake-free.” It does so by fixing your grammar and spelling errors after you have uploaded a text. There is a free version you can add to your Chrome browser. Very useful tool.
BBC Learning English – With this resource, you can revise different grammar topics from lower-intermediate to advanced levels. Every post comes along with a short summary of the grammar rules behind the topic and an activity such as a quiz.
Grammar Girl – This Youtube Channel focuses on providing short tips to improve your writing and memorize certain grammar rules. If you are not into watching videos for learning, there is also a website and a podcast version of Grammar Girl.
British Council Learn English – The English grammar section of the British Council is divided into eight categories: pronouns, determiners and quantifiers, possessives, adjectives, adverbials, nouns, verbs, and clause, phrase and sentence. In every category, you will find various sub-categories so that plenty of grammar-related topics are covered in a very structured manner. Every topic comes along with an exercise and you can receive immediate feedback.
